BACKGROUND

Here at The Grand Old Uke of York we love it when we get to combine our passion for playing with giving a little back to charities who work so hard supporting those needing that bit extra.
Normally that involves us playing at a charity gig, busking in the rain or donating ticket profits from concerts. We feel privileged to be able to do this as a group but have been looking for a way to get other musicians involved for a while now...

AND then we spotted this!!

CHALLENGE
A Challenge....we love a Challenge!
St. Leonard's Hospice have challenged 30 teams to each raise as much money as they can from a loan of just £30 in just 30 days! (Between
3rd February - 4th March 2018!)
There are no rules, it just has to be legal!

ALL PROFITS go to the fabulous
St. Leonards Hospice who
providing specialist palliative care and support for local people
with life-limiting illnesses.

Each person in the video pays their Status...GO!!! entry fee at the time of submitting your application.
Under 18's pay £1 per person
18's & Over (or Mixed age groups) pay £2 per person

Every person wishing to spend the day
at the studio MUST pay.
​
(So, a group of 4 children, aged 17, will pay £4.
A group of 3 adults, aged 18, will pay £6.
A group of 2 x 10yr olds and 3 x 55yr olds, will pay £10)

The song is going to be released as a CHARITY SINGLE during the final week of the competition, again, in aid of St. Leonard's Hospice.....
